Paula Red



Discovered in 1960 by Michigan grower, Lewis Arrends. Chance seedling with possible lineage to McIntosh.

This variety has a mild flavor, not too sweet or tart. It has firm white flesh. Paula Reds are great for applesauce and better cooked than baked.
