Apple Almond Crisp

- 8 cored, peeled and sliced Pennsylvania-grown McIntosh apples
- 1 cup flour
- ¾ cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 egg, beaten
- ⅓ cup butter
- ½ teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 cup sliced almonds
- 1. Fill a 9-inch baking dish with the McIntosh apples.
- 2. Mix the remaining ingredients (except the almonds) and pour over the apples, covering well.
- 3. Sprinkle with almonds and bake for 30-40 minutes.
